tide change
Releasing my first series of artwork, tide change, which comprises compositions that I’ve produced over the years. In titling this series ‘tide change’, I consider the ebb and flow of creative expression from its nascence to actualization. My own art practice, which has been latent but neglected throughout the years, is formalized in these prints.
The prints are digital compositions printed onto 16” x 16” (41 cm) 230 gsm premium archival matte paper.
My personal preference for presenting my art is a simple foam core mount. I take a casual approach to the way it can be interacted with, like leaning it against a wall or tucking it behind a stack of books. In allowing the print to maintain its own structure with minimal backing, it individuates itself in interior space and intimates a numinous sculpture.
