I’m Roman Meza — a New York-based designer at Hudson Rouge, photographer at Self, and serial decompressor at World
As a designer, I often think of the work I do as threading together — tightening the seemingly disparate into the potentially coherent. I navigate ambiguous product terrain comfortably because I can tread in the direction of its potential outcomes.
Some inspiration comes from my background as an artist. Much inspiration comes from the Master of Human-Computer Interaction + Design, where I graduated in 2024. I learned to hone my creativity through research, strategy, and visual design to bring ideas to life.
Interweaving
I’m taking on new photography projects as they arise, making art, finding new places to try new pastries (and then working out to compensate for my over-indulgence), or finding catharsis at a club. I’ve also begun germinating the idea for a new journal.
When I’m free
Filament will be a repository of loosely collected musings, images, and exploration that I’ll build out soon.
