TRNK: Artist Rug Series in Piaule
My working relationship with TRNK expanded into their new Artist Rug Series. Featuring Jesus Perea from Spain, Louis Reith from the Netherlands, and Zackery Tyler from the United States, the series cultivates interdisciplinary collaboration between the design studio and artists’ interpretations of their work injected into textiles.
The shoot led us to the deciduous terrain of the Catskill mountains in New York, where we perched ourselves on the iconic hillside “landscape hotel”, Piaule. Spanning their cabins, spa, and atrium, the synergy between myself, Tariq Dixon, and Alyssa Nguyen produced work featured in Surface Mag.
