Archthe LA
During my LA trip, I walked from The Row DTLA to the Arts District. It was an isolated 15 minutes through desiccated cement slabs. The purpose of the walk, aside from wanting to steep myself in lonely LA expanse, was to grab a cold brew from Maru Coffee. Before my trip, I discovered Maru while researching places to visit and learned that there were locations in both Los Feliz and downtown. I wanted to visit both to satisfy my coffee shop whore heart.
On the walk, I found an oasis in an art store, where I bought pens. At Maru, the cold brew and clean lines revitalized my parched body and mind. Meandering around the Arts District, I happened upon Hem’s showroom, which wasn’t open but which was pleasant to see nonetheless, as I had known it was in the vicinity beforehand. I also came across Archthe LA.
From Ssense:
… creative director Joo Eunsil incorporates elements from disparate global origins into a showcase of aesthetic leanings from her native Korea. Arch The’s amalgam of diversified sentiments culminates in a stripped-down design ethos centered on comfort, quality, and simplicity.
